I have the VP9SK and it is an incredible firearm. The ease of fire, the trigger and the return to zero Are extremely good. As far as I’m concerned, a real home run.

Does the VP9L have the HK green ring on the end of the barrel? Also are these tilting barrel actions… the barrels seemed to sit pretty straight when the line was locked back but could just be camera angle

If DROS is being held up it has to do with the state, not the shop. You may want to contact the DOJ cause there’s nothing a shop can do about it.

The VP series are the only HK handguns that I don’t care much for. Loaded chamber indicator on the back of the slide is unnecessary and allows debris in. It doesn’t feel as solid and robust as the p30 or usp. Feels like they quickly slapped it together for the American market. That said, the maritime version for the Germans is awesome.

Total bs. P-30 and USP are nice but their double action and single action type triggers are aweful compared to the Sig 229/226 and especially to the striker fired VP-9. These are selling for 650.00 now for the optics ready model something the P-30 and USP are not able to mount. It also holds 17 rounds in the magazine outside California. HK doesn’t slap anything together.

P30 has one of the worst triggers ever, even worse than the Glocks. I don't know who would prefer it with that garbage trigger over the VP9. I know a person who put 30 000 rounds trough his SFP9 and nothing broke, even the extractor or any pin/spring. I own a SFP9 Match and it's the most ergonomic pistol I have ever held. VP9 is literally a striker fired P30 with a better trigger and optic ready, why would anyone prefer the P30 over this is beyond my mind.

H&K is priced high for no other reason than the H&K name. They aren't even the best in the game. Also, rack it however you want as long as you're being safe.
