My experience with Heco speakers has been excellent. The sound and build quality of the Celan-Revolution series is impeccable. Heco's price-performance ratio is very good and therefore iIt's true that you often pay double the price for similar speakers. I have been using the Heco La Diva for over a year and I am still highly impressed every day. These speakers are playing so natural, well-balanced and homogeneous.

First Impressions on the Aurora 1000 towers. They are very tall but have a slim footprint, made for medium to large spaces (think family rooms or bonus rooms over the garage). They have a "bottom-up" character with generous, full bass, warm midrange and a sweet, airy treble. Even fresh out of the box they were easy to listen to and there was zero fatigue no matter what I played. They complemented everything I threw at them nicely and I found them to have a forgiving nature. Singing "Angel Eyes", Sinatra's voice was very rich and expressive. John Coltrane's sax on the legendary "So What" had bite and texture, but was never too aggressive. The acoustic bass and drums on "Fever" by Ray Charles was very clean and realistic. This is an excellent speaker for the money. I'm about to audition the Celan Revolution 3 standmount speakers so stay tuned.

Years ago, I saw a tower speaker from Heco, in MediaMarkt shop in Turkey. These speakers belongs a series called Victa. They were very slim, had a decent build quality but most importantly had a great sound quality for the price. I couldn’t even believe the price of them that time and double checked… Heco as well as the some other hidden German gems (like Canton) in Hifi for a no brainer brand to go especially for the price…

@Audio Advice I love German loudspeakers I have a pair of Canton Vento 836.2 that I had a cousin who lives in Germany send me because you can't buy them in the US. Unlike HECO Canton does make all sorts of speakers for full Atmos theaters, maybe you guys should look into becoming a US dealer for them as well. I would love to be able to buy the matching surrounds and Atmos for my towers speakers without having to import them myself.

I just bought a return pair of Heco Aurora 300 in Germany. The seller too was confused with the price but in the other direction. They seemed to have thought one pair goes for 180 so they priced it far below that just because the box was opened once. I never had such a stunning deal in my life.

@@AudioAdvice Thanks. If you might I would have a question for you: how well would the aurora line timbre match the ambient line given audyssey and room treatment takes care of the rest? __________ I would like to build out part of my parents insanely long living room into a somewhat well treated yet still presentable home theatre-living room hybrid for Christmas. They are living quite secluded, are approaching their seventies and would love to have the possibility of a great cinema experience again to share with their friends. The living room is more than long enough to segment the room quite easily with a wall but to fit the side surrounds without compromising on the look and feel of their none-TV-area will be challenging and in wall mounting isn't possible without much more work due to solid brick walls so the ambient line seemed fitting? Input would be highly appreciated.

The Heco Aurora 200 bookshelf speakers are on my short list but it looks like Audio Advise is out of stock. I will update my first impressions after I am able to locate them. Reviewer: I understand the point about the cost of the speakers compared to its performance. I am almost certain I saw the 300s at $350/pr but they have been bumped up. The 200s are now $314/pr. I can't tell you how many times reviewers on KZbin have extolled the low cost of audio gear based on performance, and then months later see an increase in the price. Emotiva is a good example. Companies read KZbin reviews on their products.

Hy ! I tested the Heco Aurora 300 against the Klipsch 600M, Wharfedale Evo 4.1 and Wharfedale Dentons 80th... i kept the Hecos... my amp is an cambridge azur 550A 60W integraded. They sound full in the mids, not like the klipsch... they sound a little thin. the evo' had lots of bass and, good mids and fine highs, but where a little dull allover... they may be better with a stronger amp... the same with the dentons... they sounded full as hell, but sometimes even in an album, some songs sounded absolutley great and the next shitty as f..... ...they also may needed a stronger amp. the Hecos did it all... nothing sounded bad on them... very clear, very very wide and deep sounding... and the bass is dry like a squirrel fart on a windy fall afternoon... very neutral and deep, not that punchy, but plays really deep.
