am i the only who find strange that some guns are russian , while the game take place in US Louisiana? a pocket pistol like the Colt 1903 or Mustang , Mauser HSC or Walther PPK or a Beretta M70 or 82 , instead of a Makarov , would have been fitting, or a S&W 76 , Grease gun or Ingram instead of the Bizon. but i guess they are connections weaponry, and in RE8 we learn they're based in eastern Europe

I love the drastic change in Ethan's ability to wield a weapon between 7 and 8. Examples: Ethan dumps mags that he could use later. He forces a double barrel shotgun open instead of hitting the barrel release. Ethan doesn't put a shotgun shell in the chamber of a pump action. (Idk why, but in both games with Ethan pumps the shotgun after reloading.) Ethan doesn't pull the charging handle from under the gun and instead flips it into view. Ethan doesn't hit the slide release on a pistol (Idk why the slide goes forward automatically) Almost all of these are fixed in RE8, instead of the DB shotgun since there is no DB shotgun I think...

Ethan has also learned that double barrel shotgun are less effective than pump shotguns, so that's why he has no longer any reason to use such a gun
