To answer the questions. In the current situation with coronavirus and government guidelines, I have made the choice to 80% shut down and stopping all domestic garden/work, as feel it is the right thing to do, however still doing commercial sites which are closed and isolated from public and staff. Hopefully this situation will improve sooner rather than later. Stay safe

Guidelines say if you can't work from home which we can't I'm taking all the precautions possible and informing customers to stay indoors during my visit and I disinfect all equipment after each use

jason Gardener Yes , I’ve done the same for the last couple of weeks, but I know one or two are going to start phoning me when their grass gets a bit longer in a week or two.👍🍺

I'm carrying on except for my weekly have become two weekly. Also can't take anything away as I can't get rid of it and no green waste bins. My mulcher mower has come into its own this past week and a bit. On the subject of cat/dog poo, I have refused jobs because of the amount of it. No harm in saying pick it up or I leave. As for the rain, your braver than me. I get wet once and I run home.

Tidy job Jason. Had a falling out with two of my customers a few years back because they wouldn’t clear up the pets mess , don’t know why people think it’s acceptable to tiptoe through the turdlips whilst you’re trying to work. 👍🍺

I refused to cut a new customers lawn a month or so back for failing to remove dog faeces! I'll refuse again too! Needless to say she never got back to me!

Not too sure about that arborist helmet with a hedge trimmer. Nice hedge trimming work though and that's for sure!

This Stihl hand held hedge cutter does it tend to smoke a lot when you are cutting hedges

How are you finding the 56's? I never bought a pair as I already have the 45's 81R 's 122HD60' & 522HDR75X's! I actually only use the long reach when necessary, for that I have a Husky 535LK and extention when needed! Fair play chap, always do a nice tidy job!

Hi Jason, I am just wondering what hedge trimmer do you use the most? I use the Makita EN4951SH 25.4cc 4-Stroke Pole Hedge Trimmer, however, I feel it's heavy, not very powerful as I'd regularly get it stuck on thick stuff and have to physically rip it off. I also feel it the blades are short at only 20". If I could get a short reach pole hedge trimmer with more power and a longer blade it would be the business. I think I can do almost everything with the short reach pole trimmer as opposed to a Stihl HS82 30" hedge cutter. What do you use the most the short reach v the short reach pole trimmers? Any advice is welcome? I am thinking of trading. Thanks in advance!
