Hednesford Civil-War#21 2020

The Annual Civil War held at Hednesford Raceway where the North and South of England put there best drivers forward in 3 different classes; micro bangers, 2 litre bangers and unlimited bangers.
This year saw a very close finish with the last race deciding the outcome... resulting in a win for the SOUTH!

Brilliant show of respect from the southen driver at 17:58 after that unfortunate drivers door hit. Good to see that even with how competitive the civil war is, that all the drivers still care about eachother. Thats what bangers is all about.

I don't know where they get them from! That being said I do know of a 1974 Chrysler Charger here in the UK. It hasn't moved in decades but is easily seen from a main road.

I love watching banger racing, used to go to Plough lane Wimbledon during the 80's I wouldn't have the balls to be a driver though! My mk1 granada ended it's life at smallfield track but I've still got the ghia grill !

great vid keep up the good work. Was in the main stand,love the banger only events. You missed the fire in one of the finals. These drivers are mega when you think of the effort they put in with the cars and the show they put on.

Shots to the drivers doors arnt allowed. Shots to passenger side door are allowed but not if the car is flush against the fence.
