IIS (Internet information services) Learn Windows Web Server IIS in 30 Minutes

IIS (Internet information services) is the Web Server That Runs on Microsoft Windows Operating systems, it can be installed on many Windows Server or Windows Client Machines like Windows 7,8 and 10.
IIS Web Server can be used to host both Managed .NET applications like ASP. NET and unmanaged code application like PHP or even Node JS.
But IIS is commonly used to host .NET Apps.

I love your walkthrough. I was just on Pluralsight on a beginner path and they were like open up your IIS manager which I have never accessed before or know anything about. Super annoying they don't show you how to access it your first time opening it. IMO, KZbin walkthroughs like this are way easier to follow.

I do not understand how did you jump from declaring a new Website, entering the pathway to the new local location, then, having all the directories in the new directories Website1. Nothing has been created as of yet to place default directions in Website1 directories . Where dd I fall short?

When covering FTP you said SFTP is used when enabling SSL when that's not correct. IIS does not support SFTP which uses port 22. This is FTPS over ports 21 and 990.

Thanks! Our site was migrated 'to the cloud'. Now our clients are suffering from crashes when they submit online forms - they fill out the form and press 'submit', but nothing is retained. Our 'IT' department's solution is to continually restart the application pool. Is that the best we can hope for? Doesn't seem like much of a solution....

On my IIS I have running a shop website, a client which will use that shop created on his webserver an subdomain and he is now pointing this subdomain to my IIS.
