Heechul and Hangeng love each other, no matter what the extent of that love is. Heechul has not been the same since Hangeng has gone away and when Hangeng left Heechul went through a break down stage where he stayed away from people locked up in his room. It's silly to speculate what kind of relationship they did or did not have. They are very very close, trust each other and love each other. It's obvious they were very special friends, maybe more. I hope their friendship never changes

@Zsuzsi22 I don't know how often they talk and I'm not sure how close they are now, but they do still keep in touch. When Hangeng came to Korea to shoot a video in 2011 (I think) Heechul went to the filming site. Also, Heechul wished him a Happy Birthday last year and played his new album on his radio show, Youngstreet. I do hope they talk a lot. It'd be a shame to have completely ruined such a beautiful friendship.

They are really good friends. Heechul is so happy in the past. They always drink together, cry together, laugh together. Although they still contact each other, i feel sad that they don't get to see each other. I hope SM is more gracious and stop making Hangeng a taboo subject to SJ and the media

I think they are really close that's all. I'm not being narrow minded, but not all close friendships need to have a sexual component. Sometimes people are just happy being around certain people. They have a bond like soulmates. Soul mates doesn't have to be sexual, it could be purely platonic. It's just not many encounter it.
