Forgive my ignorance if my question sounds stupid, as I am no mechanic by any means. If you connected the new intercooler inlet pipe to the new intercooler before installing it would that make things easier? What is the reason you did not do it that way? I hope to do this install on a 2024, so any tips are appreciated.

Any further info on that "oil in intake" issue? Does the car need a catch-can?

We have not dug any deeper yet. Up by the intake everything was clean so, maybe not.

What will be the difference if I have this installed, will there be any hp gains or better flow because I've been considering it

The car feels faster and more responsive for sure. The intercooler allows much more efficient air flow. We can get a quote going for you if you like.
