I grew up watching the Dog. He was a much loved heel. He was only like 5'7 and 220 to 230 lbs, but tough as nails.

“Mad Dog”’Vachon used to really scare me when I was a boy! Especially this one promo when the Vachon Brothers were going to face Dick the Bruiser & Crusher in a cage match. “Mad Dog”, as fate would have it, kept saying “I’m not an animal! I don’t belong in a cage!” Then he kept snarling and growling and throwing himself against the cage. I had a fit!

Two of THE GREATEST minds this business will EVER see. God bless you Bobby for ALL the great memories you created for us. I could literally listen too these two for hours on end. Bobby reminds me so much of my Uncle Doug same wit and humor. Can make a joke out of any situation.

Danny Hodge even said Mad Dog Vachon was legit as tough as they come, that's as high as praise as you can get when it comes to toughness.

I enjoy these Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon stories. Wish there were several more stories about him told by wrestlers. Anyone else wanna know?

Mr. Jim Cornette must have loved this sit-down. He is so enthralled with his predecessor's stories. Thank you, heel managers, for doing your best to keep professional wrestling mischievous and fun.

being from montreal, i have a special appreciation for this... mad dog was one of a kind. so tough, legit tough. olympian wrestler & completely crazy, but extremely sweet with his fans. didn't deserve what happened to him, i hope that driver wasted away from cancer. (fyi, vachon was a victim of a hit & run in 1986, just weeks after his retirement match. got his legs amputated. they never found the driver.

Watts was a beast of a fighter too ...but in his case , 6'3" 295 lbs , it was obviouss he was not to be taken lightly . Vachon was 5'7" and 210 lbs but was a tough s o b . Brawling , dirty in fighting , or olympic wrestling ...he could do any of it well ans could take more ass whupping than you could give him .

0:39 I’m glad they put Mad Dog’s name in the title so it makes it easier for the less intelligent people to work out what Mad Dog’s name is backwards, God Dam (though when people say God Damn it’s spelt differently but pronounced the same the “n” is just silent).

Bobby was the best!. I could not understand what he was saying on this clip, or very little. What did he say in the first 20 seconds that Jim laughed at so hard after a delay? He was old school in some ways, I really doubt that Vachon in real life kicked a guy so hard in the street he tore through the front of his dress shoes, if that is what he said. He would have been in prison.
