Hi there. As you migrate any external source to TIA you should do this to s7-300 module. Then you have an ability to change from STL to LAD. So use S7-300 as your “converting” PLC and then copy LAD block to final destination PLC .

I find it annoying that you can't export Ladder og FBD in TIA. Allen Bradley Studio 5000 makes it so easy to do. Later versions can even export whole modules and drives.

I have a prog IHm from tia portal and the cpu's prog from simatic manager and a want to control a bit "M3.2" to valid a test , i know i need to link this bit from ihm to the plc but both of the prog is used to different application , and i don't find external sources files in tia portal to receive the DB i export to simatic manager For the record in tia portal i have only the program of the IHM and blocks of "device proxy" which i can't add news block Anyone have a solution ??

Hey hegamurl. I'm a student from Belgium and i looooooove your video's. They are the best tutorials on youtube in my opinion. Your video's made me much better programmer then a few years ago. I have a question for you. I have watched you're video's about UDT's and i find them very usefull. If i am correct, I believe they can be used to configure faceplate's that can be saved in a personal or company library. Would it be possible to make a tutorial about this becaus i think this is something verry usefull as a SCADA programmer and could save a lot of time. If you want to do that that would be awesome. Keep up the good work!
