@@audiovenueltd1290 definitely not, warm dead dull murky sound prefer razor sharp micro fine detail flat response so I can pinpoint every instrument being played this fails , the sound like Focal magico B@W monitor audio Proac Atc style. This Hagel and Macintosh Burschardt are similar.

@@abdulmokta6081 Listened to the yamah AS2200, but what a boring amp that was, wasnt able to listern more then 1hour to it. Upgrading my Hegel Rost to a hegel H590 was the best thing I did. Keep in mind its not just personal preferences, but also speaker pairing, cables, room, what kind of music etc. There's no amp for everyone

@@magnat505 Hagel sounds dead dull lifeless murky it's on the warm side like Macintosh amp and Burschardt speakers. You do t want too hear instrument are being played the hidden ones the musical director artist music programmer will never use warm dead Hagel they use flat response, recording studio will never use garbage dead dull Hagel or any warm smooth like Hagel. So no tone control I'm left dead stick if I want to have more bass I have too change speakers or amplifier or want more midrange or less treble. What a joke an excellent way too cut cost for Hagel , don't say it interacts because it ha Yamaha has a bypassing circuit just like Hagel.

@@magnat505 I use 50 band parametric equlizer so I can play with frequency response from 5hx bass all the way too 200khz treble, with Hagel there's only 5 frequency transistor inbuilt in the mother board so you're stuck limited with sound alterations.
