Looking forward to pairing this with my H160. Love your company and products. This one seems to be priced well.

After 1 year of searching right choice to my system ( SME 12A+Ortofon Kadenza MC, DAgostinno Progression, Wilson Audio Yvette) and 1 week with V10, I found my phono stage. Low price? yes, but absolutely AMAZING sound. Some people swear. I am one of them.

WOW. Thank you for that super feedback. I am glad you enjoy it.

What a screw that ground is, an amazing design! And the custom design shitter power supply, allowing for an easy V2 price warp. Two little boards that are “almost fully discrete”. Sure it must sound incredible.

Thanks Anders for the video I look forward to hearing the new product; on a separate note, any word on when we can expect Hegel to have an integrated amp software update for tidal connect?
@HegelMusicSystem4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words. I do not know the answer to the Tidal question yet. And in any case I do not want to make promises, following the mess with Roon taking forever. But we are researching it in the background. We just want to run the last few meters to the goal line with Roon first. On a side note, Tidal Connect was launched only on one platform provider in the beginning. Not brands as such but a platform provider. Only just now was the code released to others so we could start looking at it. It is a very nice feature and if we can do it it will be quite high on our list of priorities.

Anders, thanks for the very informative video! Still, let me double check: do i get it right, that external Power Supply is AC/AC converter, and AC/DC coversion is happening inside the V10 unit? As you mentioned transformer being there

HELLO ! im buying a hegel amp but dont know exactly wich one . i woudl like to go for the hegel120 because its my pricerange. my loudspeakers are KEF LS50 Meta. is that a doable match ? i never listen very loud btw. Maybe the hegel 95 is already ? enough

Get the H120, i use the H120 with my ls50 meta's and its a perfect match. Incredible sound quality

@@hclandscapes perfekt thanks. on thuesday i will test the KEf r3 & 7 .... but i will probably stay with the meta
@HegelMusicSystem3 жыл бұрын
@@AntonRacing Completely agree with @HJC. We use the H120 a lot with the LS50 Meta and it works very well. Actually much of the listening during development of the H120 was done on the LS50. So they were built to match.

I have a Hegel H70 amplifier. Trying to set up volume control with the Apple TV 2021 IR remote and nothing works. I can't get any of the native remote's functions into the Apple TV remote. What could be the problem? While my Hegel HD20 dac controls the Apple TV remote perfectly.
@HegelMusicSystem3 жыл бұрын
That is strange. There is nothing Special about H70 codes. It is standard RC5 "amplifier 1" codes. HD20 does not use the same codes. It uses the RC5 "Amplifier 2" - set
@hclandscapes3 жыл бұрын
Hello , Whilst listening to my H120 today the entire screen went black, the remote control stopped working and i couldn't switch the amplifier off with the button underneath the amp but strangely it was still playing music. The only way i could gain control was to switch it off at the wall and seemed to make everything work again. I have since updated the software. Its less than one year old and hope this wont happen again. Have you heard of this happening before?
@HegelMusicSystem3 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear about that. It is very rare for this to happen. What happened is essentially that the on board computer froze and needed at restart. It is always on and listening to commands from the network port. So this can happen to any networked device. But again, very rare and nothing to be worried about. Except from the annoyance.

Yes. In the V10, the XLR is truly balanced

Why are the Hegel PCB´s so badly designed? Wow, a custom grounding connector, I had took the nice Cardas one?! Could you explain why this custom external power supply is so good? BTW, good sales job.

I’ve owned the V10 for 9 months. Yes it sounds wonderful but the V10 is a royal pain in the butt,if you have multiple carts. The dip switches are terrible. Yes, if you shut the device off and then remove it from the shelf, it’s easy to change. But honestly, who does that? Again, if you have one cart and set and forget, then you’d avoid the aforementioned. As for the impedance setting inside: what a waste. Seriously, I ordered online so who’s gonna make those changes? And why would you have them if the only people who can change the settings are Hegel dealers? I love the idea and I paid for it but the feature is useless to me. Recap: The sound of the V10 is amazing and works well with my Hegel Pre20 but…

Thank you for posting and we totally relate to the hassle if you have more than one cartridge. The reasons things are like they are is for the purpose of very short signal paths and at a reasonable price.
