Ironically I think his "lack" of size helps him because his excellent running technique makes up for short legs. Yeah he's only 5'9, but he's 215. That is YOKED. And it keeps his center of gravity low as hell so it's nearly impossible for defenders to get under him. When they do, he has absolute tree trunks for legs so it's still not a guaranteed tackle.

@kja633629 күн бұрын
@@jadenblackerby3325 CMC, Henry and Saquon didn’t have half as good starts to their seasons as Jeanty. Through the same amount of games in his Heisman season, Henry had 700 yards and ONLY 300 after contact. Jeanty has 800 yards after contact and 1300 yards. They showed this on ESPN, they’ll keep showing how absurd Jeanty is every time he plays if you want to know. CMC is more comparable because of their style, maybe Jeanty doesn’t hold up but he doesn’t have injury history. All the RBs with injury problems in the NFL had same issues in college. You can’t hate on the one guy for being young and then lost those guys as better RBs lol if your first thought isn’t Reggie Bush you’re too young. Like bro he’s on pace with Barry Sanders in a league that makes it 4x harder to run, only Barry, Bush and Jeanty move defenses with every step, and all did it with ass fronts
@jadenblackerby332529 күн бұрын
@@kja6336 The thing is, what if he's unable to break tackles at the next level? If he can't break those first tackles, he'd be averaging about 2-3 yards per carry. Against pro defenders he won't be able to shake it off, especially since he doesn't have any sort of elite acceleration laterally, or even at all.

What people fail to keep in mind when making “he’s going to be the next great NFL back and he’s the best in the past 10 years” comments is the better an athlete is in college, the better chance he has at landing on a terrible professional team. He may get lucky but top 10 guys usually have to get lucky to come out rolling in the league. Or they have to be special, and there were thousands of college greats that didn’t do too much in the league. Reggie Bush had arguably the greatest college football career ever and during his tenure there wasn’t a football player on any level more exciting to watch than him. He had a 10 year career (at least I think so) but a guy like him coming out of college, people thought what y’all saying about this dude, the next great and he ain’t playing against the steady competition Reggie faced. He’s too small to go crazy in the league, short is okay but he ain’t got the tree stumps Barry and Jones Drew had to keep that up against 6’3 330 across the front line then 6’4 250 across the second every week. He gotta get thicker or else he’ll fade as many do. Do yall remember Jacquizz Rodgers? Lil short stumpy dude, hell of a college running back that wasn’t on a great team but balled out. This dude reminds me of him. Faster Forsure but Rodger’s was a dawg in college, they not thick enough to be short and dominant guys in the league. Barry messed that up for short guys, Saquon was doing what this dude doing in college wasn’t he? I think I just said all that to say, just enjoy this young dude, let him ball out and finish the season before yall start calling him the best ever or the best in the past 15 years, I wish him health and continued success but he can still get hurt at any moment plus they half way thru the season.
