Niemals Ausser Atem - Ein Floetist zwischen Bach und Jazz
INTERVIEW'S TEXT:
Never without Breath
Between Bach and Jazz
The first time I heard a flute's sound, I
was 4 years old
it was 1974, we moved to Rome
the neighbours upstairs were musicians,
and one of their childs played flute,
he repeated all time the G-major Mozart's
flute concerto
somehow he became my teacher!
I was so fascinated by lightness and
tone-colour of this instrument,
and also by elegance, brightness
and expressiveness,
that I asked my parents for a flute
and I had it for Christmas...
but in those days I was'nt able
to get a sound from it...
