I think there was a window that if Heidi had genuinely apologized and admitted to what happened Lauren would have been okay with her. Not close, but she kept denying it and didn’t hold herself accountable at all and that’s what I think ended it for Lauren. Spencer was a certain way, but Heidi loved him. It is rare at the age to stay with someone and I’m sure Lauren didn’t think their relationship was going to work. She meant well to be protective as a friend, but Heidi proved to Lauren that she couldn’t be trusted and there was no genuine apology and until this day... it’s skipped over.
