Hi Heidi, three lovely DIYs. The first bought back lovely memory’s of my grandma. She told me when she first got married, money was so tight, with the war going on, and she wanted a spatula like her friend had. Of course even something a simple as a spatula was really hard to come by, so grandad took an old handed down serving spoon and hammered it flat. She used that spatula through having 12 children and more grandchildren and great grandchildren than I can count. Grandma moved in with her daughter before she passed away, and the spatula is still being used to this day, and looks no older since the day grandad made it for her xxx

Spoon towel hangers really cool. And I love the look of the Lazy Susan. And the Little jars do remind me of kitchen sets that were all green. There were canisters,salt & pepper sets,ones for spices, and spoon rests. And about anything else you can think of. And to get them at a antique shop would be very pricey. I do love the look.

I love the way you paint the letters..so professional!! I can't belive you free hand it so well..perfect in fact!! Loving your easy diy's💖😍👍 I loathe diy videos where the person pulls out a measuring tape and or ruler...And with a professional tone instucts you on how many inches of foam board you need to cut down... Ok, you wanna line you're paper, place your ruler on the half inch mark...mark that spot at about 1/8th of an inch..and you wanna space it 3 inches apart!!!😂 I'm like, NO MA'AM, I WILL NOT BE DOING ANY OF THAT...BECAUSE, I AM MOVING ON!! 😂😂😂 So with that...I love crafters like you, Easy, Cost effective...and Most importantly....FUN😍..Thanks for sharing, God bless💖👍

Cute ideas. I used tabs from cans all the time to hang things. You can find some that are really heavy duty I make those into boho crocheted earrings and I sell them. I'm going to do the Lazy Susan but I think instead of dolls I'll use the little tumbling blocks and I might slip the pan over somehow so there's a lip on the top. Thanks for the inspiration

The spoons r a cute idea! If I warm up the spoon or any metal, it will bend easier, Carefully, of course! And I've noticed for awhile that I letter perfectly. My 1st husband & I had a sign biz back in the day & I do the lettering & numbers just the way we were taught. Very artistic.
@HeidiSonboulDIY4 жыл бұрын
haha Mary... I completely forgot you can warm it up. I haven't worked with metal like this in a long time. Thank you for reminding me and pointing that out. That is so neat about the sign biz. My mom was really into lettering and it's where my love of it comes from. She had a really awesome book and I would sit and practice all the time.
