People tend to forget how this happened in Tekken 2 as well, with Kazuya being thrown inside that volcano, only for him to come back in Tekken 4 due to retcon of that game. They've always had the problem of following through with the character deaths in a storyline, and so has lot of other fighting game developers. Because legacy characters are often a cheap way of gaining more sales in comparison to gambling for success with a whole new lineup of characters.

It's not that Heihachi is here that's stupid, it's why, they could have easily just had created some bs like Heihachi had trained the Monks and taught them how to resurrect him if he ever had died and they would do that and being back the old man, instead apparently Kazuya never saw Heihachi hit the lava and left while this random monk saved Heihachi (who's heart literally stopped beating)

You all sit there and forgot about both Zafina and Claudio(Connected to Sirius: The god and personification of the star Sirius.) Supposed "normal humans" doing the unthinkable without the demon gene? Zafina was able to contain the power of "The main Demon" that started all of this somehow within her as a "normal human". Demons are not the only powerful entities in Tekken. Angel was shown in Tekken 2 and Jun herself has shown a spiritual connection and prowess before she disappeared.
