Why does he go demon blade for crit when heimdallrs crits do 40 percent less?

It’s not for the crit damage. The damage is less but still more than a regular auto. But what it’s for is the stats. After a crit you get 10% pen and more attack speed. That’s 30 power (same as exe), 25% attack speed (5 more than exe, same as qins), 10% pen on every auto now, and with the increased attack speed you have more autos that come out to crit. It’s an amazing item by itself even without going a crit build
