Same. I have HPV and it is a lifelong problem. I've had to have multiple surgeries to remove the legions, they can pop up on the tongue, in your throat, nose, etc aside from genitals and can potentially be cancerous. I can't imagine this being the case for a helpless infant who is now at risk for a lifetime. And that is second to the trauma of being assaulted by her own father. Absolutely sick.

I was infected with an STI at the age of 8, courtesy of my "friend's" 15yo brother. I will have the virus for the rest of my life. I tried to tell another girl at school. Result? She told her mum - who instead of raising an alarm or showing concern - told her not to mix with me because "she knows what it's like to be with a man already". This started off a slew of slut-shaming, severe bullying and further sexual abuse from others. I still have a terrible reputation, despite not earning it and being in my 40's. The bullying affected me even more than the various abuses and left me terrified of letting anyone touch me unless i was in a relationship. I still have nightmares and flashbacks. I chose never to have kids because I was terrified history would repeat itself. I am so glad this little girl has a mother who will protect her. ❤

25-Life!!! That's what CSC 1st in Michigan will get you. 1 year old who gets an STD from this evil animal? You're definitely getting life. We have a mandatory minimum of 25 years for CSC 1st. There's a guy who had his 4 year old do a bunch of evil stuff since she was a baby. It was the worst case the judge has ever seen in his 25 years as an appellate and circuit court judge. The worst case of criminal sexual conduct a pediatrician of 25 years has ever seen. He recieved consecutive sentences amounting to 72-120 years just so his as* isn't walking out. He isn't going to win any appeal either. He'll be in 23 hour a day lockdown since he's got a huge bullseye on him in prison. Someone would definitely love to make him a statistic!

A lot of women very sadly have grown up with fathers who molest them and moms who either look the other way or join in themselves. I once asked a pedophile what his wife would have thought if his 12 year old daughter had gotten pregnant with his kid. He responded by telling me his wife would be ecstatic and would love and care for the baby just as much as anyone. If it was genital warts which it seems like they are describing; that is caused by the virus HPV. There are multiple different strains of HPV; a few of the strains are known for causing cervical cancers and other types of cancer. There are vaccines created for those more potent types of the virus, but a child does not receive them until between 11-13 years of age. Unfortunately, I’ve talked to my own doctor about this and they said most practitioners assume 98% of people have contracted HPV by the time they are 20 because it is so easy to contract, merely skin to skin contact. Not all strains of the virus cause genital warts: however. Even the warts we get on our hands and feet are caused by a strain of the HPV virus. This would make it incredibly difficult to know, many people only flare up with genitals warts once in their life and then the virus goes dormant for the rest of their lives; this is also part of why it spreads so quickly. It would be very hard to know for sure for these reasons

Genital warts come from hpv. There are over 300 strands of hpv and literally everyone who has had sex with someone has a strand of hpv in them. Look it up. Now… the baby could of very well have inherited it from the mother. And if the mother has had sex with her husband he would obviously have it too. Some people show signs of warts from certain strands of hpv and some don’t. Wouldn’t really solve the riddle in this case. But it could help I suppose.
