My mom worked third shifts at Wal-Mart when I was a kid. I had seen the commercial for this game, I called Wal-Mart to see if they had it. After begging my mom she drove back up to her work after having worked all night, bought the game, and then played it with me before going to bed. God bless that woman. And God bless Funhaus for bringing that memory to the surface.

I've heard that playing board games with the Willems' is actually a tried and tested torture technique, where their beady eyes follow along with every move you make, casually boasting about your predetermined fate, winning the game before it even edges close to the e-... and they lost. Lots of fun times in this one xD

This makes me think of the game Deception IV: nightmare princess. The games in a big castle and the whole game is set up around the premise of putting traps to hinder, move, damage, etc. knights and whatever people invading to kill you. It’s great you set up more and more elaborate chains of traps to trigger one after the other, havent played anything quite like it
