A big needle! What a fantastic idea. I learned about the needle with the wings but this is much more accessible; I have many. Thank you! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️

I viewed your video because I am relearning how to do heirloom sewing after 15+ years of letting it go the way of the wind. Definitely will use your techniques as I learn all over again!

Hello Susan Stewart! Good morning. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing. I would like to try to do it but my sewing machine don't have this stitch 5 times back and forth, over and back. It only has the single Pinstich or Blanket Stitch as it is called. I tried to make it, but it doesn't work, it doesn't look pretty. Could you please tell me which model of pfaff sewing machine you use in your video tutorial? So I could see if I can find one. Best Regards David

I am looking for a make and model of machine that will do this exact stitch, any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

could you show please what stitch in your machine are you using. Thanks

Mary Tito, the stitch diagram and name will not be the same for all machines. The diagram will basically look like a ladder with one side missing. But not all stitches with that type of diagram will be a pinstitch. Some will have more than one stitch forward, and some will have more than one stitch sideways. Sorry I can't be more specific! It's best to watch the movement of the needle in the video, then test various possible stitches on your machine to find the best match.

This technique will make a trim on cotton to cover a mistake when thread tore my T shirt. That strip of lace will look so intentional. :-)

Fantastic. Clearly explained. Dear, did you sew this with ordinary needle or winged/hemstitch needle. The effect is so.. delicate. Beautiful .

She explains that it is a big needle. What a fantastic idea if you do not have access to the winged one. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
