3:26 that is actually how second gear attacks interpreted in the manga, it is so fast as though the attack only punches midair but not actually hitting the target, creating like a hole in the air. I find it coller that way rather in anime we can still see most of the time that luffys punch actually hit the target

Logia - gives ability of nature element. Ice, Fire, Light, Darkness etc. Such things as wax, poison and other stuff - similar, but not the same. Even if you can manipulate your body just LIKE logia - it still wouldn't be logia. For example - you can turn into milk. Milk - is not nature element. But because of liquid nature of milk - you can alternate your body as you want (not automaticaly, as logia).
