I rather like it in this key, the original key Villalobos initially wrote it in. It sounds a bit brighter and more lively. Great arrangement and performance. Thank you for sharing!

Heel mooi! But it's not in the original key. It was transposed up a whole step. I'm curious as to why -- was it to avoid using bass sax?

maf1029a It‘s actually the original key of the first version by Villa-Lobos. Marcel Mule, who it was written for, ask him to put it down a whole note - probably to avoid altissimo g. He never performed it, though.

Hi Benjamin! It's a series 3, yes. I think i played a Selmer Concept back then with Vandoren V12 4 (?). Meanwhile i switched to Vandoren SP3 with Legere Signature . best, Andreas

Too fast, perhaps the Amazon rainforest the song of the birds that live there is not in line with the speed presented here, the passion has not found a place in the rapid arpeggios that do not deliver the real feeling of the relationship of the native Brazilian man with the nature of his country.
