Im not an emotional person, Infact im always told by my friends and family that I 'never show emotion' or 'we never know what your thinking about' I wasnt sad by his friends deaths, We only knew them for one episode right? The leak of Eren and Mikasa is the only spoiler I truly wish to be canon. It perfectly ends their relationship and character arcs so well. Mikasa's unconditional love for Eren becomes requited only if she answered differently when Eren confronted her. Eren was willing to sacrifice the world, he was willing to drop the rumbling and his fate just to live his remaining years in peace with Mikasa. If Eren was indeed the one who showed Mikasa the Alternate reality which was when she confessed to him, then it answered a lot of plot points. Mikasa's regret and doubts during that confrontation scene and Eren who asked what he was to her, was not actually him confirming whether or not she was a slave, rather, he was searching for a final option...which was to run away with her. They were both each other's home from the very beginning. It's bittersweet yet beautiful at the same time. UPDATE: Recent leaked panels confirmed it. Guess we'll all cry in a corner huh.

I analyzed this song, again and again and I realized that this song can be also dedicated to Grisha Jaeger. He lost his first wife, wished for a place of peace, and tried to solve the freedom'e problem, but *things changed suddenly* and he became a titan. After he got back in his form, he remarried. But then again things changed suddenly. The sequence: "I don't have the power": He doesn't have the power to do it, but knows that these powers will help his son to survive. "Everybody's got no place to hide": means the time when the titans attacked and he wasn't home. "All I know is my life is gone": He doesn't a longer life span and he has to give his powers to Eren.

The song No Matter Where You Are is Mikasa’s Pov to Eren, while this song is Eren’s Pov to Mikasa and he is showing this alternative reality to her to show he does love her. For chapter 138 as both of them got the same dream of the alternative reality as Eren got this dream from chapter 1 and Mikasa from chapter 138, this song correlates to both of them as the song states “We Dreamt a new house” which is the mountain hut in the alternative reality in chapter 138 and it also states “A place to be at peace” as Eren states in chapter 138 he wants to live the rest of his 4 years peacefully with Mikasa, just the two of them, then the song states that “everybody’s got no place to hide” “no ones left” “and there’s no ones to go on” this interprets the end of Paradis as Marley will soon invade Paradis and they have no place to hide so everyone there will die, so the only two survivors would be Eren and Mikasa and then when Eren’s 4 years are up, Mikasa will be Alone, it’s really happy knowing he loves her, but it’s sad because he just can’t have all that happen, carrying those burdens and have Mikasa end up alone, he can’t bear it so now they are in the reality where Mikasa has to kill Eren or Eren wins with the rumbling protecting them no matter what.
