Wrong. You can numb real love but you can NEVER make it go away. There is a saying about TRUE LOVE ( only true love) in our language. Love is the fire you cannot light. Love is the fire you cannot extinguish

We bring to these dating sites all our biases and subjective values. Some real and some imaginary. Physical first impressions, geographical distance between the two, nebulous terminology ridiculous cliches, and not enough coffee to make a rational choice. Soldiers of love, march on.

When societies/civilizations have preconditional mindsets they can not think/assume anything else as realities/truth. So if we haven't searched/looked for minimum four dimensions of realities we are entangled. When we call testerosterone as love harmone we certainly forgot oxytocin. Behaviour and appropriateness of both has different impacts on societies . Humanities needs oxytocin, but human beings are inclined for testerostone.

If you want to know about love... talk to old married people. At 70 and married for 40 years, as a carnal male, I have come to the conclusion that I am a lustful animal, but God uses me to share His love for my wife through me.
@nemo2275 жыл бұрын
You don't need a PhD's help. Billions of people have been successfully and unsuccessfully joining: male/female, young/old, and many combinations. We learn as we go along. I'm in the very best place and wiser after 52 years of marriage than when I was young.

70 year old male here. Listen up, young people! Before you go on a first date, there are two questions you must ask! Let’s say a woman meets a guy. In their very first meeting before “Yes” comes out of her mouth to go on a first date, she must get honest answers to - 1- What is your religion? And, 2 - Is actually a line of questioning about his work, and as many believe attitudes he has. If she doesn’t like what she hears, run, don’t walk, out of that initial conversation. Forget how cute he is, etc. Actually, these types of questions were usually done by the parents of the girl back in the nineteenth century and other centuries, but our Modern Woman Today resents her parents screening potential husbands. We can see all around us how the Modern Woman has fared these past hundred or so years being her own free-spirit self. Why religion? Religion these days is hardly talked about. It will come back to haunt the marriage in ways not anticipated. She must get these questions right or the marriage has a high probability of being doomed from the beginning. Even she asks the right questions I fear she will not be as objective as a parent would. Once in a first or second date and “in love” the relationship becomes dangerously non-objective and it’s off to the races to get married only to learn the hard way those questions should have been done with more steely objectivity.

As a not quite so young lady, this is why I'm so particular. My parents have shown me what not to do in picking a life partner, so I'm relying on faith to weed out most. Then prayer to suss out the one, and joint devotion to keep headed in the same direction together.

Hmm Not sure it’s a real love when it comes to technology age. It’s a tool to love bomb and hook. When it comes to a real encounter the game can be the same. Has she been live bombed and then rejected? I don’t think it’s improving connections. Mostly shallow disconnected. Although, you can’t fake chemistry
