Helen, I really enjoy listening to all of your knowledge on techniques for hand embroidery. I also appreciate your presentation on how you share your knowledge of hand embroidery. Thanks for that, Helen, it was very interesting. I lover Pipers' floss silks, but I often find the silk stretches and 'sags' on longer stitches. I always have a tight working frame. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have several of your excellent books and over the years I have found them extremely useful ( and just beautiful to look through) I have only just found your channel and on the strength of your videos I have ordered some Piper's silk - can't wait😃 I have one question though. On their website they recommend dry cleaning your finished item. This is not an option for me (I live in rural Spain and dry cleaners are few and far between). Can I just carefully hand wash my work?
