I guess it's what is burned into your head when you're a kid. A number of beautiful actresses have played Helen over the years but whenever if hear Helen of Troy I always picture Rosanna Podesta. She was pretty yummy back then.

Same with me. I first saw Helen of Troy on TV as a child during the mid-60s. It's the first version I saw, and the one that I connect with most easily.

bill hash I can't say that I dreamed of her, but she's the Helen of Troy I most remember. Rosanna Podesta is the only "Helen" whose real name I even recall.

SagesseNoir She was also very sweet in the 1954 Kirk Douglas version of Ulysses but I was really young when I first saw that and I remembered the cyclops more than the actresses. When I watched it again years later my focus changed.
