I would say Ana Carolina struggled with Helena . That was 30 minutes escaping Helena's attack's and finally used moment to lend on Helena and hold until las minute. Ana won with 5 points and 2 penalties for stalling. But you have to take in consideration Ana Viera age and ranking she is doing Jiujitsu longer than Helena is old. Is this some new trend where full grown woman black belt win over 17 years old blue belt girl is some big thing. It must be that Helena is real deal in that case.

@@gc2276Yes Helena is a big deal. Helena has been training nearly the same amount of time as Ana Carolina. Helena is basically a black belt. She is no ordinary 17 year old. We all say it like she's some ordinary 17 year old. No she an elite. Helena struggled more. Couldn't do anything with Ana. Ana played the game well. The goal is to win. She played the rules. Leg locks attacks are tricky. The human body is not really aware of such attacks as you would with the upper body. Ana Carolina avoided all of that well.

@@gc2276ana Carolina started jiujitsu when she was 17-18. She is a beast for starting as an adult. That would make it 12 years training. So not older than Helena

@@mattc236 Helena is still very young and she need to improve more. Yes she is extremely good for her age but need experience and that can come only with years. Ana was competing in blue belt when Helena was in dippers and didn't know probably that Jiujitsu exist. Helena started to be noticed about 4 years ago. To say they are doing this sport almost same I don't agree . And Ana have that experience and skills to avoid all attacks from Helena. Ana did have better strategy and she won that is what is counted in this case. But some people said if was submission only rules where only attacks are counted than Ana with defensive style will lose. But that is all to assume and if they go again we will see what will happen. In any case both of them are in top of this sport where Ana represent older competitors and Helena young competitors.
