thank you!! and yes i use mics on all of my tom’s, bass drum and snare. two overheads. running a right and left output from my mixer to my audio interface channels 1 and 2. if you dm me on instagram (it’s posted on my channel) i’ll show you a video when i get home from work im on break right now lol

@@GoofballDyl I’m not a real drummer but I can play well enough as someone who has a sense of rhythm as a guitarist and honestly it’s really not bad at all, super fun 6/8 track with awesome dynamic changes. And the fills are sooooo tasty man. Hardest part is the structure probs. Could be something to practice to self-improve too idk!

Next minute one of my guitar students who did the practice I gave him (that I didn’t do myself) is in a well known prog band. Little bastard made me get off my ass and practice for once and god doesn’t it just feel so good now man?! Complete control of your instrument, and it feels earned.
