This song always reminds me of my mom. I was 12 when this song was on the radio. My parents had recently gotten divorced and my sister and I ended up with our dad, his new wife, and her kids from a previous marriage. We were settling into our new lives, and part of that was my sister and I visiting our mom every other weekend. I was starting to heavily get into pop rock music. My mom was rediscovering pop music being single again. We both liked this song. My mom would sometimes give my sister and I a couple of dollars to go up to the local department store (Woodward's in New West, BC, Canada)'s record department and buy a single, and this was one of the first singles I bought. My mom passed away earlier this year. This is the kind of gentle singing along with catchy music that she always appreciated.

I learned this song back in 1989 in my grade school - didn’t know the name or singer back then. One of those music that remains in a corner of your brain, and always comes back and reminds you of the time when you were young. Since I didnt know the title of the music, never could find out who sang this…tried though, but also forgot the lyric. Today, on a October day of 2023, I finally found this…took me over 34 years to find this music…reminds me of the cold winter days of 1989 in my grade 7 class.

@@seandelfin Us and Them by Pink Floyd is probably the most sensual sounding song about war and death that I can think of. But yeah, I've always tripped on the whole eye in the sky thing. I think that it came from books I've read as a kid and Judas Priests song "Electric Eye" that kinda pushed me into thinking about it. There seems to be hardly a place where you can't be seen from above anymore.

God of the bible doesn't begile or lie. Luck is a concept. So who else could it be? This is a man who has fallen into the trap and was beguiled by the trappings of the world. He fell down to worship satan. The man whose eyes are now open is trying to walk away. Satan unmasked, is no longer lucifer the angel of light bearing gifts and treasures this world has to offer.. Does this man really break free?
