I'm a couple of steps back from you at 58 years old, but feel the same way. Singing to the songs of the late 60's on the AM radio as my mom drove me to kindergarten. Growing up in the 70's and 80's. Seeing it all die starting in the 90's. How lucky we were to live it to the fullest! You've let me know I'll still keep rockin' till the sandman comes! You keep doing the same Anthony!

This is one of the first songs in English I've heard as a child living in México and even though I didn't understand the lyrics but the music transported me to another dimension..I love it so much and many years later when finally was able to understand the language I knew the reason of my feelings about this song and some others from Alan Parsons and different artists.. music like this would never be repeated in this world. ❤❤❤

This song is a masterpiece and everyone knows that. This song is as addictive as sugar. Its lyrics, the music, the voice and everything is so beautiful and thrilling that gives me the goosebumps every time I listen to it. In my humble opinion, I thin that Alan Parson’s Project is in the same league or level as Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, Eagles, Journey, Foreigner and some others are.

Im 26 years old and can pretty much recite any song between 1950- 2005. Music has always been an oulet for all sorts of emotions. But Allen Parsons Project seems to fit any mood im in. And what is even more weird is that Allen Parsons is a co writer for the album Dark Side of Moon by Pink Floyd . Because if you listen to this song which came out after that aforementioned album it makes you think how did he not become more of household name. This is to you Allan Parsons you the man, the myth and the Ledgend. 🤘🤘

No matter how many years go by,my love for this kind of music will never die... I know time went by quick, I just turned 58 this week. I started listening this music when I was 14 and it helped me learn English little by little and then I came to US as a student and here I am. My mother that lived in Mexico used to ask me to play all these songs I had recorded in cassettes and cd's because she liked them, even though she didn't understand what the song was/talked about, she loved them 🙏 RIP I'll go to the grave with these songs.

This song always reminds me of my mom. I was 12 when this song was on the radio. My parents had recently gotten divorced and my sister and I ended up with our dad, his new wife, and her kids from a previous marriage. We were settling into our new lives, and part of that was my sister and I visiting our mom every other weekend. I was starting to heavily get into pop rock music. My mom was rediscovering pop music being single again. We both liked this song. My mom would sometimes give my sister and I a couple of dollars to go up to the local department store (Woodward's in New West, BC, Canada)'s record department and buy a single, and this was one of the first singles I bought. My mom passed away earlier this year. This is the kind of gentle singing along with catchy music that she always appreciated.

The Good Ole Days . Gets to the point, great tune. The beginning is unusual and awesome. True the 80s had great music to choose from and the 70s .

I don't know how this music will last with all the music coming out and all the generations of forgetting about great songs. We have to play songs like this to our kids or the music will be gone forever.

One can only try, but each generation has their style of music, we were thankful for ours, they are happy with theirs, Ok, we do not know why, so we all share a common factor here, whatever hooks you, go with it, good luck!

I learned this song back in 1989 in my grade school - didn’t know the name or singer back then. One of those music that remains in a corner of your brain, and always comes back and reminds you of the time when you were young. Since I didnt know the title of the music, never could find out who sang this…tried though, but also forgot the lyric. Today, on a October day of 2023, I finally found this…took me over 34 years to find this music…reminds me of the cold winter days of 1989 in my grade 7 class.
