I'm reading at the moment , I agree, a beautifully different outlook on life and I absolutely love his writing style. Great observational humour to every day beauty, warmth and simplicity. Hungry Paul what a guy , LOVE him. I can't say i'd like all the characters as friends though , especially not Grace - I don't like how she undermines Paul, and seems to completely miss his wisdom.. -looking forward to his next book. @@LifeLessonsFromBooks I recently came across an interesting book; it is a short book. I don't know if you've heard of or read it, but it is Plus by Joseph McElroy. It was written in 1976. "He knew memory, but saw that it was not the same as remember." This is a quote that a reviewer pointed out, and I agree it is a good one.
