Well, I've had a go again. Not bad although nowhere near as nice as yours, but then I don't have the patience like you have, sad to say. It looks like a leaf though and that's what matters. 🤣 Thanks Rae.

Thank you for this tutorial! My colors do not look a bit like yours, could you perhaps tell me what I should use and mix. I have Hooker Green (WNewton) Sap Green (WNewton) Phylto Green (WNewton) Lemon Yellow (WNewton) Cad Yellow (WNewton) Paynes Grey (WNewton) French Ultra Marine (Wnewton) I also have a Mungyo Palette
@helencampbell4 ай бұрын
Hi. You could use hookers green and sap green for the bright greens and use perhaps something like phylo green with a little bit of French ultramarine for the bluey green tone. You may have to tone it down depending on you how it looks but you need to add a lot of water.

I am just now learning about watercolor painting. I came across this video today. It is amazing. I just subscribed! In this video... I already learned 3 things I need to work on, I need to use watercolor paper and watercolor brushes and I need to use more water! Do you start all your paintings with wet on wet technique? Thanks.

Hi, and thank you for subscribing to my channel. We’ve plenty of videos to choose from so take a look through. We’ve even got some really good playlists! I actually start my paintings both wet and wet and wet and dry depending on the subject, there really isn’t a right or wrong way it’s kind of what works best for you and as you progress on your watercolour journey you will find which method suits you best

This is a great project. I love painting leaves and this is a really nice one. I love how you mix and blend your colours. You make the end project look so natural. Congratulations on achieving 60k subscribers. That’s great. Thank you for another amazing video. By the way, I get told I talk too fast as well. Much love - Dawn 🌅

Thank you very much, Dawn. I’m glad you like the video. I particularly enjoyed doing this one as it’s so vibrant and bright. And yes, I absolutely do talk too fast LOL as part of who I am though X.

@@helencampbell me too. I live with Asperger’s syndrome and the fast talking is one of the first things that was picked up as a symptom. I find painting and crafting relaxing and it’s what I do to get through a meltdown without worrying my husband. Xx

I tried to join the FB group and was declined immediately with no real way to find out why. I was going to join as a paid member on Patron, but now I'm concerned.

Hi. I’m so sorry you were declined entry into our Facebook group. Were you given a reason please? We have to moderate all applications due to spamming et cetera so please could you give me a little more information.
@AmandaMashburn-d7iАй бұрын
@helencampbell it didn't really give me any reason. Just said that it was automatically declined based on criteria admins added to this group. I don't know if I missed an answer and should try again, or what.
