I absolutely love it. I'm glad the planning went through. It's sad when you cant just live because everyone wants to have a hand in your wallet. Its actually healthier to live this way, cleaner air and close to nature! I would rather pick up and leave to live a private life somewhere like this ANY day over the nastiness of some people and their attitudes towards life. We get bill after bill after bill, late fees upon late fees and threats of shut off because they gouged the crap out of the service costs and we can't get even!!! I truly admire you for going for it!

top notch with farmers saying their going bust leaving eu look at the coppice trees and oat straw they can produce for building materials all source locally and creating true sustainability in building - like in austria state controlls the price of building land (^K a plot) and you have to build a sustainable house using local materials and skills-- we need more folks like yourselves

Inbetween the roof and the turf is a rubber membrane. I'm sure you can find some more details on how to do that somehwere. I don't have any film of it myself. Your photographer needs to understand that the video is supposed to show the house (cob floor, kitchen, bathroom, etc) and not just your back as you walk around in the house. What I could see in the still shots was lovely, but much was not shown.
