its not easy, but also not _that_ hard. bearing in mind one can miss 17 notes before failing, and has to hit 4 notes to recover from a miss, one can miss the first 17 notes, hit 4, miss 1, hit 4, miss 1 etc etc and so on (and obviously drop every sustain as well). this is _still_ not the lowest possible - you'd think avoiding sp should be natural, but being able to increase your health faster with sp is good because you can miss more notes afterwards, losing more points than what you've gained under sp. sp phrases should still be missed if they are too long (long enough to get a multiplier) and/or contain too many chords (worth more points) though the initial logic of 'miss 17, hit 4, miss 1' is (relatively) easy to implement, shouldnt be too hard to implement a logic on how to act under star power (hit 9 miss 1 if health is not full, else hit 1 miss 1 or something of the sort, i havent 'studied' this properly) and how to act AFTER star power (like 'miss until health is almost 0'), but you'd still gotta (manually) make a path to be able to get the lowest score (eg have only enough notes to fill the entire health while on sp, avoiding chords and maybe other sp phrases) but yeah, doubt he'll make it, it's pretty pointless lol

Making the slowdowns at the end is a lot of effort and I didn't want to bother. KZbin does have 0.25x playback and frame by frame playback using the "," and "." keys if you want to inspect the activations. Keep in mind that these aren't entirely accurate as the game was running beyond 400FPS and the video was captured at only 60FPS.

There's no reason to overlap that SP phrase. You'll gain 1600 points and then lose another two full measures of SP due to the overlap. GH3 doesn't have overlapping SP where you can get more while activated.

If you're talking about 2:30 then it's because it's my bot, not GH3's. I can press buttons on the GH3 controller and it will mix those in with whatever Helga is pressing. The bot just holds whatever its last pressed frets are in order to simplify hold notes. If I keep adding to this bot I will probably make it let go after a certain point.

For my own curiosity, how does GH3 detect bots and reset the score to 0 as a result? I don't expect you to offer up how you managed to circumvent this with HelgaBot, but, is it something like VAC where it scans your running programs, or does it detect timing on notes and the like?

The score resetting to 0 is just a script GHTCP installs into the game when it adds the custom menu. GH3 has no anticheat or anything like that. Helga is just a GH3+ plugin that just pushes buttons essentially.

The note window is too precise for that. Most of these activations are within 10ms of missing the note. If you don't think that is the case I welcome you to try matching this score. With that said, I plan on making it actually path the song out. This is a hard problem though so it may take a while.
