I kinda hoped that shadow fall would have had two campains, one obviously being kellan but i thought we were gunna get one for echo, like echos campain would be earlier then his and we play as a loyal echo who starts to see the cracks in the helghast ideology and eventually at the end defys them. With kellans starting like halfway into echos run where shes a prisoner and stuff. I thought with the cover with two eyes, one vektan and the other helghast and with echo and kellan being so shown off that wed get that but allas its one whole isa campain and one epilogue of echo against isa. Its sad be because they have the botzone/multiplayer character models in the game which could be reskinned helghast enemys maybe but idk

I loved the Helghast. They were my favourite sci fi space nazis, and I think it says something when they were written a lot better than the ISA. Visari's speech in the second game's intro in particular made me feeling patriotic about a country I don't think I would ever want to be born into. I really wish they would release Killzone 1, 2 & 3 on PC one day. But alas, I fear that Killzone has reached its end.

The Nazis were an exclusively German thing. They certainly are fascistic, no doubt, but National Socialism was a whole'nother animal and unique to the Reich and its puppet states. The nationally-tailored character of fascism on the other hand, means every ideology erected is organic to its state of origin and has to be, since it's erected in the service of the dominant majority's body politic. It's not as imperialistically cookie-cutter as the NSDAP was. In fact, during the Anschluß, the Reich went so far as to criminalize Austrofascists who'd run that nation prior to incorporation, whose same _National Front_ (or the Austrofascist Party) banned and actively hounded the Austrian Nazi Party and whose chancellor, Engelbert Dollfuß, was assassinated by Nazis agents of Hitler during a failed coup d'état.

The game developers most likely wanted the Helghast to look like Nazis just for people to assume they're the bad guys when they aren't. I will admit that in Killzone 3 they did turn rather immoral, but they had everything taken away from them. Also, why so aggressive?

Long live the real Killzone series. Shadow Fall was the nail in GGs coffin that killed Killzone. I love and still love playing the game KZ 1 through KZ 3, SF was and still is such a let down and complete failure for GG. I miss the online play, they did need more maps for us all to play on of course. PS hoped it would have been Xboxs HALO killer but did not matter, still is one of the all time best games PS introduced to us all and got us addicted 🙂

From childhood to this day, I have been very fond of our descendants of the Helghasts, since childhood I have been fond of Alpha Centauri and the planet Helgan itself, and I hate the developers for the cliché plot and the company that they failed, the Helghasts are the best in everything and they are not villains, in this game you can it was to combine 2 alternative plots where you can play for the Helghan Empire as well as for the Zkmlyans (Vektans), the developers just drowned this good game with their feet in the dirt and forgot about it, no wonder why the rental failed, but all because the Fans want a full story walkthrough for the Helghast, save Cities on Helghan, help Colonel Mael Radek, save Wizarri, prevent the Teracids, defeat the bastards from the earth
