Maybe the avy conditions were high in the Alpine at the time but yeah that is flat as f. Skiing in tracks lower down for big $$$$.

Not what I was expecting from the talk in the Heli before getting out. I'm sure it was still a great time but there is skiing similar to this at resorts. I am a ski instructor in Utah and skied steeper and deeper powder with my class of 12 yr olds the other day. Still looks like a great time though, nice long runs!

1500 a day to ski less than boot high flat terrain up high then shin deep heavy wet, tracked out snow in the trees would have pissed me off. I know it's all weather dependent but their must have been better north facing pockets elsewhere . Isn't the whole point of heli skiing to place you in perfection? I just cant get over how shallow and boring the first half of the run is, then how pedestrian and average the second half is.
