That was so cool flying through the clouds! Looking forward to your next video! My favourite parts usually is hearing the helicopter turn on!

Looks truly amazing, like surfing over the clouds.👍But, there is not much other air traffic in that region, right?🙂

Maybe for a great interest to your followers you could do a comparison explanation of some of the line up of Airbus helis and talk about pros and cons of them doing your kind of work related flight missions. Thanks enjoy your videos a lot.

Hi great videos, just a question would a EC130 be able to do the same work as you do with the H125. Hook cargo lift. Thanks. Yes I know it's primarily used for passenger missions and has a higher price tag. But if needed to will it be able to perform such missions.

Thanks 😁 Yes they do make cargo hooks for it as well. It is technically able to lift a little more (on paper) but there are other factors that make the H125 superior for cargo lifting. One thing is that the tail fin is huge. So it is a lot harder to hover with a crosswind which you have to do sometimes when slinging. Also it is a fenestron tail so it has less authority (I'm told) at high gross weights, than a traditional tail rotor. The pilot flies the helicopter from the lest seat (partly so that passengers can't disturb the collective),and this is a problem when you need to look down. There is no vertical sling window, and you have to lean all the way over the collective to look down. With no vertical window you need to remove the door. So if it's raining /snowing or it's just a little bit cold it gets very uncomfortable. But to answer your question: yes it can perform lifting operations, but not near as well as the H125.

Super very clear answer. Just watching your Epesode 41i been watching all your videos all day and find your instruction is so relaxing and you make flying soa true art form@@UpsideDownWash I asked the question because we hire the H125 to fly in our snowmobiles during spring so we can ride the glaciers. But I'm looking to buy a new Airbus 130 for our Island and want to have that ability to sling in materials from main island if needed. Keep up your great videos they are by far the best I have seen anywhere. Just a note of caution keep your language clean no foul language, as children are also watching and want people in the industry to respect you as a top professional rather than a bush man logger.
