Tight and dense riffs with complex and complimentary vocal arrangements give this one some serious replay value. Clearly a lot of work went into the final product. It's refreshing to see the positive attitude of power metal expressed through science fiction instead of fantasy for a change, and more refreshing that no one had to dress up as spacemen or aliens to do it.

Just stumbled across this video today. Listened to the song half a dozen times now and it keeps getting better! Four reasons to love it: 1. It's a melodic approach to Power Metal without tons of keyboards and orchestration and choires, which is surprisingly rare these days. 2. The vocals. They really give you guys and girl a voice (pun intended) of your own.Neither the typical classical vocal style found so often in Metal, nor a Lzzy Haleian rock beast. Call me crazy but I feel a little reminded of ABBA :) 3. Those vocal harmonies are REALLY well done! 4. Perhaps most important: THAT ALBUM COVER! This is a T-Rex Alien Thingy in body armour shot at with laser guns! So much win! I think I'll have to buy the CD just for that! In short: Keep up the great work!

Astonished! So this popped up on my random feed while I was paying attention to something else. Without even thinking, I stopped what I was doing and uttered "well this is bad-ass," real matter-of-fact-like. And I stick by my initial reaction. Something about it reminds me of the old Hexx album Under the Spell. Not because it has an 80s music style, but more due to the tightness of the lyrics and rhyming and how well the guitars track the thematic content of those lyrics throughout. Actually, just like Hexx in that way, I guess. Very impressive.

To Helion Prime.... it is hard to get over the loss of a lead singer after a fan base has been established... but know this, I loved many bands, throughout many changes of lead singers..... if the singer themselves was what I wanted, I would follow solo material with their names on it... I however am looking forward to HELION PRIME material in the future (similar to how I followed nightwish through the years).
