6:23 I don't think that is how it works. The signal has to go from one antenna to the other antenna, not meet in the middle of nowhere and automatically double it's reach.

It's amazing that they redesigned the locator map as I think it's a wonderful tool people can use to make the network more efficient as it help eliminate redundancy and maximize rewards. I just hope folks use it in that light..and as always priceless information!👍

The witness list is a recent witness list they roll off after 5 days. He has hit 40 over the past 5 days but never more than 25 at a time. Also the reward scale...let's say yours is lower only affects those who witness your beacon not your witnessing of other beacons hence the great rewards still coming in. Hope this helps everyone. dude did you ever deploy at a second location? if so, how did you setup the second miner? did u set them all up from the same app, or do you need 3 diiferent apps running? how do you add another hotspot?? did your neighbor need to setup for themselves or is there a way to manage both? im only asking because i have 6 that i need to send out.. just need to figure out out to manage multiple hotspots befire i ship them. any advice?

Do rewards simply correlate with how many hotspots you are around? I am asking because i live in an area where i have ordered a few hotspots and i want to get more if it works but there is none around me so my hotspots will only be witnessing each-other is this okay? If i had 6 in 6 different adjacent hexagons and i owned them all am i going to get the same rewards as someone in a city? Because around me there is nothing so do they reward people in remote areas worse or is it simply about hexagon coverage?

If the ones below my hotspot and I have huge dbi antenna I can go higher than them and hit farther hotspots but then the ones below me hit me and I can’t hit them so I still get rewards from them hitting me without me hitting them? Thank you

If I am not mistaken, the radio signals don't meet in the middle. One transmits a signal and the other one has to receive it to connect and visa versa. But yes they are probably using a higher dBi on each end.

They don't listen or speak every second of the day. It depends if they both push out a signal at similar times, then they reach

I am synced but I want to start a new sync. How do I do that? I did start new sync on the bobcat diagnoser and he does it. BUT! that does not update on the Helium explorer there it just stays last updated 5 days ago and its not showing that it was synced a hour ago. How do I start a new sync for real? They won't need to resync unless they have been offline for more that 10-15 mins. But that time off, if syncs fast

I bought 2 bobcat helium miners 9 months ago and just got them I have no clue how to use this app. I have no idea what the hell a witness or anything like that. I have purchased a bobcat for myself, and 1 for my girlfriend which she will run hers at her place. I will let her keep all the coins generated, but she says she wants me to run it for her. Do you know if the app will allow me to run hers, and she can also use the app to see how it is doing if needed? So basically one miner can have more than one people accessing it via the app?

Do you have a video that shows how to fix a relayed hotspot? If not that could be an idea for a video. And when replacing a stock antenna with a higher dbi antenna like a 5.8 or 8 dbi what would be the proper steps in replacing it safely without accidentally damaging the hotspot itself in the process, I could only find a single answer on Reddit that said to turn off your hotspot before replacing the antenna.

yes. or 4dbi depends on the range you can get with the surrounding area. if you use 8dbi as example, its only pushing out from your level, not having an umbrella effect to hit others above you.

Max witnesses is 25. You may have 44 showing but only currently max is 25. It shows one's you've had in the past. Best sweet spot is finding a spot that is 350 meters from other but within 2 km of as many as possible.
