@@jarbear This one was quite simple, solely due to the structure of the song. I just cut Dreamland at the right time and faded in with the beginning of Helium on Audacity. Great way of explaining the feelings I get when I listen to them. I just found this band 2 weeks ago and I love every song. I have always been a huge fan of heat waves. And I have been secretly going through a heartbreak and that song reminds me of him. Then I tried to listen to something else from this band and BAM! I unearthed a whole world of new amazing music and it's been really helpful to get me through the process of getting over a broken heart. ❤

Sounds like a mother's love to me, something some of us haven't had in a long time, and others maybe ever. Maybe something we don't know we miss. Though I know the children's voices and the video clips throughout the album are of the members of the band, some of these songs also strike me as a couple going through a breakup, and losing that happy family dynamic with their children. The same sadness, opposite end.

wow your thoughts are so profound and is also a sentiment that I share. personally, I found the album in a quite rough time period of my life. these songs helped me relieve my emotions and thoughts. the production of the whole album is, simply put, magical ✨

The way the songs on the album flow into each other and then eventually loops from Helium to Dreamland gives you a sense that listening to the album was all an illusion... kind of like a dream; a dream you wake up from and don't quite remember in detail but the sensation of having had it lingers, in an eerily pleasant way, until you go back to sleep and repeat the entire process. Each song is like a fragmented memory of that dream; a vivid image that jumps out at you but doesn't really make sense on it's own. But together, these pieces make a perfect picture. And in a sense, if you really listen to the lyrics of each song, they are each micro-stories about someone's potential life experiences; about abuse, abandonment, not being understood, rough childhood experiences, all things that could crop up in dreams - or nightmares - and haunt you without you really remembering what you're being haunted by.
