4:57 I just want to add to this, do not under any circumstance do any of the methods mentioned to remember the seedphrase. Always use pen and paper when writing or remembering your seed. If someone gets access to your seedphrase they get access to your helium wallet and all funds in the wallet. Do not store seed-phrases to any wallets online, usb sticks or encrypted drives. only have your seedphrase on a physical piece of paper and write it down in a area without cameras and hide the sheet of paper

I store them into 2 different USB thumb drive or micro SD card for portability (with password protected & encrypted) then store both in 2 different locations. on top of that, can also have a paper version just for another layer of security. definitely don't store it on the cloud.

I've watched 15 video's until I found yours... By far the best explanation, thank you! I have a question for you if you dont mind. I live in a 2 story house, the plan is to put my antenna outside. I want to use a pole, attach the antenna to the top, approx 25'... I will need to use a 30' wire (planning on the LMR400 wire).... the question is... is this wire to long? Will I lose to much in the transfer? Thanks again for your help!

Longer cable length will reduce the antenna signal strength. Meaning if your antenna is 5.8dBi, and you have a very long cable, eventually the antenna is not actually 5.8, could be 4 or 4.5 (just an example). You can google it, there’s a calculator that calculate your cable length vs antenna strength. But doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it, based on your description, the elevation is really important and it will get you more witnesses. So definitely worth doing it. Lastly, you might want to consider grounding too since it’s a single house. Hope this helps.

If that's the case, I'd say use ethernet instead of wifi. You want to be a stable Wifi environment for miner be fully functional.

If you place them correctly (separate them with 300-350m distance), the rewards fluctuates and really depends on the location.

He has to transfer the miner from his HNT wallet to yours. You can just get a used one without transfer otherwise all profits still go to him.

Correct. The reward scale will decrease because it defeats the purpose of helium network. You want to spread them apart with min 300-350m distance. There seems to be some confusion where I said ‘I have 3 miners’. All these miners are in totally different locations. They’re not at one home.

You do! I normally choose custom antenna and input 8.0 so the network knows what antenna that you use. (very important!)

My Bobcat miner is setup as follows: Verizon internet into verizon box, ethernet cable from verizon box (only 1 ethernet port) to verizon wifi router, Bobcat ethernet into verizon wifi router. My miner has green light on, yet app shows Relayed. If i used straight wifi instead of the ethernet cable would that solve the relayed problem? Or is the relayed problem with the wifi router itself regardless of cable or not?

It doesn't matter ethernet or wifi, either way you need to do the port forwarding.

In this video the LongFi looks like it's a male. I ask this because I want to purchase the bob cat with a longer coax. You can buy it from Bobcat (link in description) It will work as long as you set up properly, the matter is earning more or less.

TaRio, I have a helium app and a helium wallet. Linked together and do not look like the original Helium app. It does not allow Bluetooth to work, it does not show the location settings, not showing name of my Helium miner. This new Helium app is different from the older version and is not working for me.
