ive seen other videos not remove the whole bumper. WHy do you need to remove it fully just to access that one bolt that's near the side? seems a bit excessive.

ECS no longer has the helix lights in stock, do you need to buy an led conversion kit or do the bulbs that comes with these headlights work fine (more concerned with functionality than looks). TIA

If you still are looking to convert to these lights, buy a conversion kit from usp Motorsport with HID bulbs if the seller does not include bulbs/ doesn’t specify

Congrats on the upgrade. It looks awesome! I'm really looking forward to got the exact same for my Golf. But I'm a bit worried about a few things. Does the LED DRL are replaceable? What type of bulbs does it use? Do you experience any type of error on the car's panel? How does they iluminate the road at night?

Only in country that GTI supplied with Halogen headlights. These fit any mk7 with halogen. Any mk7 with xenon headlights these will not fit. For that you need the factory mk7.5 headlights, re-pin the headlight connector wiring, new bcm, new range control module and coding

no, theyre made to be just the one color. you would need custom built lights to get them to be RGB/ change to any color

the oem 7.5 will NOT fit on a mk7! The screws and the rest of it don't match up, only aftermarket headlights like these in the video will fit a mk7

Dang it, I REALLY don't feel like taking off the bumper for a headlight.....I got a loose wire on my right headlight.

You don't have to remove the bumper. You can just pull the side of the bumper out enough to access the side screw and you're good.

Golf mk7 and 7.5 have slightly different headlights and fenders. I think the one he has is an aftermarket mk7 that is made to look as an 7.5
