Hell Let Loose - 18 vs 18 Medium Tank Event! (BEER Haus Tank Brawl I)

Rules:
• Only medium tanks allowed
• Only 1 tank per crew at a time
• Start time for match will be 1:05 on clock (hold in HQ sector until then)
• From 1:30-1:05 teams will be in charge of building nodes and garrison setup.
• Once match starts players must remain in tank crews. No infantry, commander or recon units.
• Fight over middle point only. Whoever holds middle point at end of the match will win.
• Do not go past middle section, but teams are allowed to shoot enemies anywhere on map
• No structures to be built outside of HQs except garrisons
• Garrisons allowed in second row from HQ (Rows 2 & 9) in case of loadout bugs and disconnects.

I haven't gotten further into the video so you may have already done that, but I've had some crazy plays in a recon tank against heavys and mediums going in circles in a duel with them and nearly winning in a Russian recon on kursk

Which is why in real combat. You have infantry that covers your flanks so that you don't end up in that situation. This is why in real world and in games tanks alone. Will get poned every time.

My only criticism of this event was that at the end the German's were able to start capping at the end by having a solo infantryman run out into the zone, adding pressure to the U.S. and possibly making them choke despite the German's not even having a tank on point yet. IMO it feels cheap and cheesy, it would feel more fair if infantry could only cap in this mode if a friendly tank is also on the point - or in the very least, initiate the cap. A infantryman can sneak into area's where a tank would not be able to advance through without called out or even knocked out and it kind of undermines the point of it all to me. This match very plausibly might have been won by the U.S, they were pushing back extremely effectively and getting kills very rapidly near the end and there's a chance that if the German's only started capping (in the tank mode) after a Tank made it to the point it could have been even closer than it already was. Either side could have pulled a victory. Overall though this was quite the amazing event to watch, very fun!

Im sorry but have none of these people played a tank game before? The first big contact that sherman should have ran by those 2 panzers and just sat behind em cleaning them up while they were focused on his partner. second one, while the tank was repairing mid road and they had a literal spotter outside the tank, they shoulda pushed it and got the kill shot. Its like the sherman commanders just WOULDNT take chances and thats why they lost contacts, they just sat there or pulled back waiting for help when they coulda easily taken out their enemy.
