this is similar to what my Michael does, except, he's the "Angel of Darkness" which in my AU is the second most powerful the 1st most powerful being is God. So to sum it up, Mike can choose who goes to Hell or heaven, and you may find this strange/absurd, but Mike chose William to go to Heaven since he was the kindest in the Afton family other than his brothers: Chris, and Terrance. Now you may be questioning "Oh? Why does William get to go to heaven?" it's bc Mike, and God know that he was controlled by a Glitch, bc GT has a bad record with the angels/God/Mike but they don't entirely hate him bc Glitch took an oath after killing the MC to not kill any more innocent people so he is trying to change. Another role of "Angel of Darkness" is they're able to kill any bad/horrible people without going to Hell. There's more, I just have to think of it.
