Here's a breakdown of the run since I'm bored: @1:33 - perfect dashing requires timing your dashes at the very end of the previous dash, otherwise you'll experience a cooldown. Don't stress it too much, this saves maybe 5 seconds in the first 3 minutes if done perfectly. @2:40 walking around a cutscene trigger, somewhere around the red carpet is safe. @3:25 save and quit to skip the recipe tutorial menu, and auto-respawn back at the checkpoint. @3:39 always hit the elevator buttons asap, before the doors open all the way, so they'll close faster @4:58 To backswing wallclip here, get up against the glass, then double jump towards the camera. Release all inputs for a moment, then swing (still not holding anything) to have Nate swing backwards into the wall. Nate should hit the glass at ~45 degree angle and ideally will clip through the glass. If the angle is too shallow (i.e. Nate is still mostly vertical) he won't clip and will bounce off the wall. If the angle is too far (i.e. Nate swings way higher than 45 degrees) then he may clip into the ceiling. @5:25 Quickly pause the game after collecting the ingredient. You need to wait for the autosave to complete. Use this time to give yourself the dash swing. Then save and quit to menu to skip the cutscene and respawn back at the elevator. @6:15 Later, I will be skipping talking to the chef, but it is vital you talk to him here. Otherwise, the elevator hall doors will remain locked, and you won't get the free warp back to the chef when you have enough ingredients. @6:25 Save and quit after he finishes talking to skip the elevator unlock cutscene @7:14 Get around a tutorial menu here by staying close to the elevator @9:31 Need 3 cans here so we'll have enough for 2 swings in Joyfruit, there's a 4th in the small cave at the bottom if you want to route it in instead of the one in Joyfruit. @10:48 Double jump and attack to hit the target and get back on the platform in time. @10:53 Tight jump, space your swings well, and make sure you're using the Boost Horns in between each swing (you'll want to be doing this everywhere). You can also use the momentum of the platform raising to give you a slight boost if needed. @11:38 Another tight jump, be sure to make good swings that give you enough horizontal + vertical speed, and boost after each swing. If you mess up, you can land on the metal bars down below if you're lucky. You can damage boost through the gate if needed. @12:23 Be sure to hit checkpoint. Only requirement here is to kill 12 (?) lizards inside the mansion (NOT outside). You'll hear a *daDing* when you've killed enough. @13:17 I'm not 100% sure what the requirements are, but I wait a split second to pause (just before the door opening cutscene starts), and then wait for the autosave in the bottom to complete. Then save and quit to menu. The cutscene should start as you're quitting to menu. If you don't do one/both of these, there's a strong chance the ingredient won't collect. @13:43 Double jump twice immediately after jumping off a trampoline to get extra height. (Got a bad jump here, but used later) @14:05 Don't save and quit here, otherwise the ingredient probably won't collect. @15:49 See here for a more in-depth glitchy nugget tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5CpgWeAidige7c In short, collect a can of meat while respawning at a checkpoint (NOT teleporter) will cause nugget to act glitchy and move around even while swinging. Time a swing while he's going up to clip into the ceiling. The behavior goes away after getting far enough away from the checkpoint. @16:50 I don't have an exact setup for getting in-bounds with this backswing wallclip here, but I try to get to almost the edge of the metal beam (not quite the edge), then line up my camera straight so that the lever in the top-right is just touching the top of the screen. Then, while facing down like so, full double jump swing (optionally boost, but be sure to release boost before hitting the wall.) May take multiple tries. @17:06 Grab a bomb before the fight starts to save a second of running to grab one. @17:55 Post patch, you need to return to hub to get the teleport-to-chef option in the top right. @18:09 Skip talking to the chef to save (ideally) a second or two of needing to walk up to him and quit to menu. (His dialogue will still stack up later, but that may be skippable, haven't tested.) @18:19 Skipping the chef leaves the door locked, so need to backswing in. The elevators are very easy to backswing into. @19:07 use these boxes for a smidge of extra height (can also use the boat if you're able to land on it quickly) @19:13 Quickly double-jump after hitting the trampoline to gain massive height (weak one here). @19:23 Got a bad trampoline jump and panicked, should've just gone back for the trampoline again. @19:30 I thought this was a trampoline, don't do this lol

@20:04 Be sure not to hit the light. (If I did the earlier platforming better, the light would've been on the left instead.) @22:04 due to how these buttons affect the camera, be very careful when moving away from them. If you're unlucky, your controls can get inverted, which requires quitting to menu to fix. @22:22 same as above, but extra extra careful here. Don't try jumping over the button to quickly get to the gate, that will almost certainly invert your controls. I walk down and away from the button first, then jump off. @23:22 don't double jump too fast here or you'll get sniped by the robot @23:40 This room should be on a global cycle, so if your earlier rooms are consistent, the platforms should be in about this position. Otherwise you'll need to improvise your platforming more. @24:39 Same as in Joyfruit, wait a moment before pausing, wait for autosave to complete, then return to hub. @25:01 Talk to Chef here or else IT won't unlock @25:31 this room is different post-patch, still haven't learned it lol @26:11 See tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYHSh6pqfbZnoq8 @26:44 Note that backswinging into the IT door won't let you get into IT early; the loading zone isn't there until after talking to the front-desk lady. @27:10 quit to menu to respawn at the first checkpoint for free @27:26 Edit: This clip is actually way easier. You can just full double jump anywhere in the room, then swing and boost until just before you hit the ceiling, and you should clip through. (This clip only saves ~15 seconds compared to just getting the wifi dongle and using the warp pads that spawn.) @27:31 depending on your meat can route, you may have enough for the next upgrade here. I forgot my route, but I don't need the upgrade for this room thankfully. If you're struggling with the platforming here, get this upgrade. @27:56 On the left, you can see an L shaped black and orange design on the far left, and an L rotated 180 degrees on the right side. I line myself up between these two Ls. Then do two quick jumps and a swing + boost briefly (release before hitting the wall), and I should clip through the gate. @28:40 Exit through the door here and the game will automatically return to hub as soon as the autosave completes. @29:53 This upgrade isn't strictly required here, but it helps as a backup, and doesn't really cost any time to route it in. @30:00 Again, double jump in quick succession after hitting the trampoline. If you have the swing recharge, use your swing first so your swing will start recharging immediately. Hit the wing gates to regain a swing if need be. You can also just swing through the gates instead of doing this, it might be faster anyway lol. @31:57 Wedge yourself into this little divot in the wall like shown (that brown vine should be directly above you.) Double jump towards the camera, release all input for a moment, then swing (no boost required) and you should clip through the wall. Tricky clip, so may take a few tries. @33:33 Land on this little divot on the island. I do a quick test jump to make sure the game doesn't think I'm airborne for no reason. Get as much vertical heigh as possible with your jumps/swings, wallclimb up the wall, then walljump off the wall to get the last bit of height you need. If you're struggling to get the vertical height needed, you'll need to route in 6 more meat cans in order to get the wall climb upgrade. Be sure not to walk into the exit door while walking in-bounds. @33:50 Be sure to tap this checkpoint, otherwise saving and quitting to menu will take you all the way back to the beginning of the level. @34:53 Again, jump twice immediately after hitting the trampoline. This is the hardest one of the run, and needs to be basically perfect to get the height you need. @35:12 Pause to let the autosave complete, then return to chef @36:18 You know the drill, double-double jump after hitting the trampoline. @36:48 I strongly recommend landing on the moving platform, instead of swinging straight to the trampoline. There's a risk of not getting your swing back properly when double jumping off the trampoline, which you'll need in a second. @36:53 Double-double jump to get the height you need, then hold the boost horns and space out your swings to get the distance you need to get over top the building. This is a very hard jump, so the better trampoline jump you get, the better. @37:29 This is the first time I've gotten this good of a jump here. If you don't get this high, just go for the trampoline to the right of the teleporter up ahead. @37:43 Another hard jump, this time you need the swing refill or you likely won't make it. Land on the lip to get your jumps/swings back. (The lower lip closer to the clouds can also be used, but you'll need to swing up to the 2nd lip afterwards). @38:06 Alternatively, you can land on the lip of the high tower and go from there to make it up to the platforms up ahead. @39:41 I haven't tested extensively, but based on where you land, you can collect the ingredient before needing to finish the post-fight dialogue, thus letting you pause and return to hub. @40:29 stacked dialogues from skipping unlocking the elevators. This may be skippable, haven't tested. @43:00 Respawn from checkpoint after dealing the 3rd hit on a phase will respawn you on the next phase, giving you all your HP back. Use this if you take damage during a phase. @44:25 Edit: Rapidly clicking the fire button is faster than just holding fire, but you need to click extremely fast for it to be worth it. The main eye automatically closes after losing ~45% of its health, no matter how fast you shoot it, so the fastest it can be done is 3 phases.
