Why all these bad comments on the singer? Does he sound like Labrie? No. Does he have an accent? Yes. Try to sing a song with dutch lyrics and see how easy it is. I think he did a good job!
@MakGedubrak7 жыл бұрын
Marcel Gommans i also think that the vocalist sounds like labrie, best labrie cover. the other instrument = great playing, great tone! about the "extra" notes on guitar etc = why not? why he should follow the "petrucci-fans rules"? even dream theater themself always add some extra notes (and drum fill) when they do covering songs from other band (trooper? master of puppets?) did dream theater disrespect those bands? nope...
@ShawnEOfficial6 жыл бұрын
Iguess these people see Dream Theater cover and think they should all sound like the band Dream Theater. They dont know half of what goes into these covers, But the guitar is point on yeah theres some extra notes but Ive seen Dream theater and they never go with the recording they "add" notes to there own music. I love it. It makes me relive when i went to see them still the best concert Ive ever seen!!
@ShawnEOfficial6 жыл бұрын
i did a cover of the trooper on my channel and put my own lead in it. saying at the start of the video " I am not him"

@@ShawnEOfficial Then don't cover but write an own song? Ppl like to here covers to e.g. see how parts are played or how hard parts are met by others, it's disappointing. In this video is every thing fine, because the important parts are there

Dear Kurosawasan, Please pass my regard to your bandmate, the drummer. He is the cleanest in Portnoy’s drumming style I’ve ever listened for 25 years of listening to DT. Yourself, bass player, keyboard player, and the vocalist have earn my full respect of your talents. Hope to see more of your own pieces coming out!

THIS is how you put your own stamp on a DT song!!!! One of my all-time favorites, and these guys do it total justice, even though in many ways it sounds different. But truly enjoyable to listen to. A real jem!!!

Falling into Infinity is considered as one of the worse if not the worst album by DT, but I love it and this cover pay a great tribute to that album, just amazing!
@naufalrahmadnur19709 жыл бұрын
alexlanza7&9 LOL, I disagree There are many amazing songs from this album, you must try to hear all of them Hope DT always in our heart :)
@paweka81299 жыл бұрын
alexlanza7&9 I think that falling into infinity is kind of good album, not the best of DT album, but good. They went to another way of progressive music, which is not acceptable for many DT fans... .Personally i like very much this album, especially Lines ine the sand and Trial of tears.
@alexlanza799 жыл бұрын
Paweł Kukla I agree and for me too Lines and Trial are best songs of the album! Naufal Rahmad I don't know if you're kidding or what 'cause as I said in my comment, I love this album despite the fact that is considered by international press to be the weakest album in DT history! Anyway in my opinion even if the quality of many songs is high, in my mind if I list all DT albums, I can't imagine any other album in the last place! (this is my opinion of course and you can very well disagree!)

it's not that it's bad, but in its conception process, it had a lot of intervention from the label guys, so i guess they felt that this isnt 100% dream theater

Godlike. Amazing band. That synth solo at 4:22 was just mindblowing. The only part I was missing is the finale of guitar solo at 2:06 onwards, didn't feel complete. At 10:50 the solo didn't begin as soft and gentle as the original, but hey that's the impersonation. Great work y'all!
