This has been one of the best random finds I've ever stumbled across. The story is great, the narration (and effects!) are top notch. I don't want it to end!

Once I got used to the style of book 1 I was hooked. Now nearing the end of book 2. A really great story (more to come obviously), well written, well paced and well read by a superbly well chosen reader. When book 3 arrives - I'll be there too - because I simply can't stop listening now - knife edge stuff.

I rather enjoyed that. I can relate as the rakish and reluctant hero. The romantic hint was a nice touch. Other than the big whacker, I could be Jerick.

Really love this series! Just came upon it last night and I'm on book 2 this morning! Well written! Character's are real and fleshed out, the atmosphere of the world they inhabit is Raw, seedy and enthralling. Hope we see more to come.

I am really enjoying the story so far. I was going to suggest providing us a link to buy you a coffee in the last video/book but now I see that you have provided it. There are so many advertisements in this video though. Every five minutes is excessive. I think you might already be getting paid.

One of the most common traits of children is they Rebelle against their parents and it makes no difference how perfect a rearing job the parents do children will still rebelle . Infact it seams the better the parenting the bigger rebellion you get.

Jerreck's airship rose on electric motors? Highly unlikely, electric motors produce insufficient thrust to lift tons of aircraft.

The narrator has gotten better by this book. He was absolutely horrible while “reading” the first book. But... the author is weak in the military tactics department. As well as in the vengeance and justice department. He writes a main character that acts like a warrior but lacks the actual warrior spirit. He is simply a character in a book that cann not be properly brought to life in the mind’s eye because of that. Maybe non readers and weak minded people could fix a character like jerreck as an actual plausible warrior. People like me, real warriors, killers whom have taken lives of those that do nothing but slaughter innocence; those real warriors find it disgusting to have such weak minded characters described as warriors. There are many other discrepancies I have found in both this book and the first one. Though this book is much better than the first one. The enokian alien humans was a bit far fetched, i feel like. The worship of god and jesus from the people in these worlds is a bit ridiculous. If you happen to be alive when aliens come and destroy your planet, start eating your species and you would actually still believe in something so ridiculous as a god or a religion of a being so powerful it could create the universe but you think if it were real that it would actually care what became of an individual equivalent of a minuscule amoeba? Thats the problem with humans. Most can not stand the fact that there is no life after death, and no god or that they have no real soul. We have only this one life unless we are living in a Matrix-esque computer simulation. Though im like 99% sure we are not. AND...if aliens were gonna come to earth it would be to clean it of humanity and set up their own vacation home and country club. Not with altruistic goals or some benevolent ideal to civilize such a violent and plague like species that humanity has become.

Hahaha it’s not a war he’s not a warrior... it’s an apocalypse and they are survivors of blood drinking aliens you’ve listened to both books and missed that somehow.

What can one do better then facing fearful odd for the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his gods... A real warrior would never call himself a warrior.
