I miss jacob a lot. I hope his family is doing well. They were apart of my church and I went to school with him freshmen year. I got to spend quite a bit of time with their family and I really liked his sister. Jacob was a very bright teen and he definitely the coolest guy at school. He literally made people dress different😂 He never tried on his tests and always got A’s. Dang I really miss him. I think about what it would be like to grow up with him. I’m now 23 and it’s just weird seeing him stuck at this age. I love you Thureson family❤️ always in my heart

"Stupid" is still on my rotation and I sometimes start each run through of a playlist with that song. He didn't seem like a bad kid; just got into the wrong lifestyle and the wrong people. Ultimately, he just wanted to make music and have fun (which he certainly did), which, even though he was nearly two years younger than me and I preferred more lyrical rap like J.Cole, that aspect of him I highly look up to. RIP Sketchy 💖

In my opinion Hella Sketchy's passing is one of the most tragic and sad stories out of the underground. It's amazing to me how FAST everything happened when he moved to LA. Seriously - you summed it up on this video so amazingly. Great research too. RIP Jacob - i'll be bumpin his shit until i'm dead myself lol

It’s tough because his life was so short and his fame only lasted about half a year. I’m sure if you had the ability to talk to some of his childhood friends they could shine some light on him but besides that there’s not to much. I was hoping to get his name back in peoples minds with this video

Another talent that became a victim of this hip hop culture/ LA (I want to be famous) instead of a productive member of society. True narcissism! . Honestly there is nothing fond remembering this “SoundCloud era”, nothing! All the talent dies young and that how this “trend” will be talked about in years. Truly is sad this kid thought doing drugs was cool. This culture ruins the human spirit. And the part about experimenting with drugs is over. That experimentation is killing 12-18 year old kids that are buying fake pills off social media and thinking it’s a Percocet. And the only reason young people know about Percocet is young thug who is charged with murder. Man that’s some inspiration right there! Stay vigilant young people!

Hella sketchy had some real talent, I really don't know what to think about the young rappers that OD anymore. I've been in that scene myself surrounded by producers, going to clubs and underground raves, experimenting with all kinds of drugs. For all the young adults out there if your going to do any kind of substance get it tested or don't do it. Be smart and read up on the interactions and dosages. Better off not doing drugs at all especially if your suffering from mental health problems and seek help. It's not a joke pressed xanax or any pills now are probably just fent same thing with even ketamine it can be laced with meth. It's not worth it and I hate to say it, I love rap and hip-hop but glorifying slanging and doing designer drugs aint cool.

You just got to find the right connections, try and build a team around yourself. All these guys you see who are big time rappers had connections in one way or another. The organic SoundCloud hit is more of a fabrication these days. Do music videos as well that helps a lot.

@@twistedworldtv thanks for the reply and advice, it honestly means a lot to have one creator reach out to another, the problem is I got a bunch of videos on this current channel and a newer soundcloud profile (the OG one got taken down... 7 years of progress and songs all gone in a flash) this new profile has new songs along with re uploads but it seems the view count on here, soundcloud and ig go nowhere; at this rate "big time" or money means nothing I just want to have the views and followers i used to have.... starting from square 1 every few years is just so exhausting

my techno/industrial account recently got deleted only moments after I logged out, I've tried to reach out to soundcloud but have gotten no response... unfortunately i didn't save those tracks to a drive so thats 4 years of work long gone. my first soundcloud profile, the one I've currently replaced is a rap profile and in my honest opinion that profile disappearing is my own fault because of an uncontrolled destructive impulse during a manic episode resulting in 7 years worth of followers and views to disappear. the episode was sparked because of a multitude of things but the main force being the feeling of not mattering @@twistedworldtv
