OMG...I went to a taping of this show (pilot episode) back in 1996! I was in the Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton and I believe the studio would pay (not sure who) for studio audiences. My Company asked for volunteers, and we went. I remember seeing a taping of MAD TV and this show.

That's Terrence Trent Darby singing the theme song. He definitely had an incredible voice. I've never heard of this show. I hate that a lot of shows Yvette Lee Bowser produced didn't get enough notoriety.

@@HellaGeo Terrence Trent Darby was before my time but grew up hearing his songs. I had listen to that theme song at least 15 times. I love his voice on this song. I know his voice when I hear it.

I met Lori a year or two ago at a con. She hasn't changed. She's still got that razor wit I fell in love with, and that sarcastic yet playful side of her. "What's up babe?" she says to me. "not much." I said. "It's rhode island, so you know...what's it like being part of one the biggest pop culture phenoms in the world?" I said refrencing her VA work as DC supervillian Livewire...Who's not part of the DC comics mainstreme books. "It's nice." she said. And I told her that Livewire got beat up by BATMAN once. "No..." she said. "Yup. Punched her into a watertower, shortered her out." "No. way. You blew my mind!" she said.

I was surprised that this was from 1996-the decor & the fashion & styling of the characters made me think it was maybe very early 2000s. Which I realize isn't a huge difference in time, but imo there was a difference as far as style
