Greeks and turks are the same... just religion differs and the muslims have adopted a Turkic language. Other than that, they are the same people. Anatolians. European Greeks however should not be called Greek, but Ellinic/Illynic/Illyric/Hellenic. They are the Albanians, Arbanites, Çams, Albano-Macedonians (Mahdhons, tall people), and Dardhanians/Kosovars (Nothern Illyrians/Pannonians/Dalmates/etc).
